Another major order for DAF at the IAA show

Two large orders have been agreed with DAF over the course of the one-week IAA show in Hannover.
Thanks to DAF’s high quality, low fuel consumption, after-sales service and low total cost of ownership, more and more major European companies have become aware of DAF.
Last week, Waberer’s International of Budapest concluded an agreement for 1,000 new DAF CF and XF trucks to renew its fleet. Almost half of Waberer’s current fleet of 3,300 trucks are currently DAF trucks.
This week, one of Russia’s largest companies specialising in food transport – Monopoly – agreed an order for 700 new DAF XF trucks to expand its fleet. The order was signed at the IAA show in Hannover by Ilya Dmitriev and the CEO of Monopoly, Maxim Onyfrienko; the CEO of Russian DAF reseller Terra Truck, Marcel Verbeeten; and Ron Bonsen, member of the DAF Board of Management and head of marketing and sales. Delivery of the vehicles will take place over the course of the current and coming year. As a result of Monopoly’s investment, their fleet will grow to over 1,000 units, of which 700 will be DAF trucks.
With two major orders in a week, DAF are continuing to strengthen their position as market leader in the European tractor unit segment.
