Nordic co-operation for DAF
2014-08-20
The latest issue of DAF–Nytt was sent out last week and will be distributed at the Elmia Lastbil show.
New this year is a collaboration between Sweden, Finland and Norway. ‘The joint newsletter showcases DAF’s Nordic co-operation, which aims to further sharpen the brand’s competitive edge in the market,’ says Johannes Winberg, Sales Manager for DAF Trucks Sweden.
‘Hauliers in our three countries work in much the same way, which makes it easier for manufacturers to adapt vehicles for the needs of the Nordic market. This means that more vehicles are kept in stock, resulting in quicker delivery to our customers.’
Other benefits of co-operation can be seen not least in the after-sales market, whereby shared stock provides an even better service.
This co-operation begins at the same time as Europe’s second-largest truck brand is seeing a real boost thanks to the success of their Euro 6 lineup.
