Jonas Molin raises a few eyebrows when he arrives in his yellow DAF XF 105.

– It’s all about being seen!’ Jonas laughs. ‘Because I go to exhibitions and meet people in my truck, I want it to look good. I’ve kitted it out with lots of extra equipment to get it exactly as I want.

His uncle’s business, Molins Entreprenader i Stockholm AB, works laying asphalt, mostly in the Stockholm area. This is Jonas’s first time testing a DAF. The truck was delivered in the winter.

– We knew DAF’s new sales representative Tommy Lind from before, so it was him who called and suggested we test the truck. It turned out to be a pleasant encounter, says Jonas.

What was important to him were the low fuel consumption, good service agreement and generous warranties.

– I also like comfort when driving and sleeping. I live in the truck during the week and my working days can be really long, so I want a truck that I like being in, he states.
